“Behold! Today hath need of thee…”
Fall 2022 Lynn House hosted an inspirational talk by John F. Cochran II, C.S. on the topic “Behold, today hath need of thee….” You’re invited to watch a replay of the talk. You can also click here for the print version of the talk.
Among the questions John asked was: did you ever wonder why, in the New Testament, there wasn’t a parable about the “church-goer”? Something like “The kingdom of heaven is like the church-goer …”? In his talk, John explored this and other ideas about loving and caring for one another.
“Angels at the Saviour’s Birth”

“‘Love one another’ – A New and Timeless Commandment”
For a print version of the talk, please click here.
This talk explores the timeless relevance of this “new commandment” from Christ Jesus and how it’s finding expression today. It is a duty … and a promise … that originated long before Christ Jesus’ ministry … and couldn’t be stopped amid the seeming separation and isolation associated with the recent belief of pandemic. How will this powerful force continue to motivate and guide us as we go forward, bringing progress and healing to our families, our communities, and the world?
Tina Bilhorn is the Director of the Tenacre School of Christian Science Nursing.

We hope that you will enjoy hearing this special arrangement of the 23rd Psalm. David Sand, our former Executive Director, and Laura Saylor, one of our Christian Science nurses, made this music recording for the Christian Science Nursing Network conference on February 25, 2021. As you listen to this beloved psalm set to music, we hope that you will feel anew God’s promise of eternal goodness and mercy.
