Touching the Almighty through the Christ
Lynn House hosted a metaphysical talk by Amy Bordeaux, C.S., in November of 2023. You’re invited to watch a replay of the talk. You can also click here for the print version of the talk.
Amy writes, “By Touching the Almighty we see God face to face. Christ enables our connection through spiritual “instant messaging” and enhances our “face time” with God.” You are welcome to explore these and other ideas in Amy’s talk about gaining new views of God and man, which can fuel our care of ourselves and our care for others.
“Behold! Today hath need of thee…”
In the autumn of 2022 Lynn House hosted an inspirational talk by John F. Cochran II, C.S. on the topic “Behold, today hath need of thee….” You’re invited to watch a replay of the talk. You can also click here for the print version of the talk.
Among the questions John asked was: did you ever wonder why, in the New Testament, there wasn’t a parable about the “church-goer”? Something like “The kingdom of heaven is like the church-goer …”? In his talk, John explored this and other ideas about loving and caring for one another.

“‘Love one another’ – A New and Timeless Commandment”
For a print version of the talk, please click here.
This talk explores the timeless relevance of this “new commandment” from Christ Jesus and how it’s finding expression today. It is a duty … and a promise … that originated long before Christ Jesus’ ministry … and couldn’t be stopped amid the seeming separation and isolation associated with the recent belief of pandemic. How will this powerful force continue to motivate and guide us as we go forward, bringing progress and healing to our families, our communities, and the world?
Tina Bilhorn is the Director of the Tenacre School of Christian Science Nursing.
